Photo Session

The smell of a newborn. The little cries they sound to make their presence known. The way they love to fall asleep on your chest. Oh the joy of a newborn is so unforgettable. There are so many things that make it such an awesome experience. This Mom and Dad will soon take part in that amazing journey with their twins who are set to make an appearance next year. Mom is almost 1/2 way there and looks absolutely radiant. Dad seems so proud of his beautiful wife and thrilled for what is ahead for this family. It was such a pleasure to photograph this family of two soon to be four.

These are tutu wearing party dress loving girls. These sisters happen to have the perfect amount of sass, style, and sweetness. I headed to their house for their holiday photo session and had the best time frolicking around their backyard with them. These girls are simply beautiful and a joy to photograph.

Energy. This Little Man was full of it in the best of ways. He had a great time running through the grass and trees. You could see the enjoyment on his face as he threw piles of leaves high in the air. I had a wonderful time chasing him around and trying to capture his energy on camera. Every time I raised my camera he would squeal "cheese" and don this adorably exaggerated smile. I enjoyed the challenge of getting him to react more naturally in front of the camera. Thanks to this great family for letting me spend the afternoon with them running around enjoying the sunshine.

I was so excited when this tre fab Mom called and asked me for a session for their holiday cards. I took them up some winding roads to this beautiful location. We met right before the sun went down and we were blessed with the most beautiful light. Little Man is the cutest. This is the second session I have had with him and has grown into quite the little boy. He was working out his argyle sweater vest. He is sweet as can be and is clearly the center of Mom and Dad's world. This family is seriously gorgeous.

This little miss is in love with her baby brother. She was so happy to hold, hug, and kiss the newest member of this beautiful family. Big sister is full of life and during the session was happy to show off some of her dance moves. Little brother was pure sweetness and had such a calm temperament. It was such a treat to photograph the family's holiday session.

I met this family back when our babies were just that...little babies. This little man was just a few months old when I met his mom at a local mom's group. He has grown into an incredibly sweet and spunky little guy. He has a love affair with all things with wheels and never met a plane, train, or automobile he did not like. He has a special relationship with his dog and it is obvious that the two are the best of friends. This family is so fun to be with and I had a great time spending the afternoon with them.

The early morning light is so beautiful. We ventured up to the top of the ridge and were surrounded by great views of the valley. I had a fabulous time photographing this beautiful family. Little Miss just celebrated her one year birthday and even with the chilly wind she had a sweet spirit the entire time we shot without much of a complain.

This fabulous family is all Bears. Cal Bears that is. Therefore, donning red (the color of their biggest rival) would not be an option for this family's holiday card. This lovable 9 month old's nickname even pays homage to his parents alma mater. I headed to the city and San Francisco weather roulette yielded clear and sunny skies. We had a great morning playing on the beach. The little one did not mind the cold water and was happy to get his feet wet. He is the sweetest little leopard you will ever meet.

Newborn Photo Session

Newborns are so precious. Their little cries and sweet movements make you melt. This little miss was just a few weeks old when we had her photo session. Her eyes were heavy with sleep for most of the shoot. She did not make a fuss as we changed her into a few different outfits and moved her into all sorts of positions. Little Miss donned the cutest bows and ruffles - all of which were pink. Her older brother was eager to smack a few kisses on his little sister. He wasn't so into the pictures but the promise of a cupcake allowed for his cooperation.

This little guy is just darling with his full head of spiky hair and his infectious smile. From the moment I walked into their home it was obvious that both mom and dad are madly in love with the newest member of their adorable family. The little one fell asleep on mom during the session and refused to be put down. I don't blame him. Simply presh.
